Devices | Our New Best Friends

Written by AMTRA Solutions | Oct 23, 2020 5:30:35 PM

Move over rover … devices are our new best friends.

In this mobile-first world that we’re living in, people expect answers at their fingertips. They turn to the nearest device to make a decision, learn something new, or get something accomplished.

The proliferation of devices has changed the way people interact with the world around them. People move freely back and forth between devices to get things done. And they're more tethered to those devices than ever before.

Our treasured phones are constant in our lives. They’re there when we want to connect with someone, cross things off our ‘to-do’ list, check work emails or just kill time. Often, it’s the last thing you see before you fall asleep and probably the first thing you see when you wake up.

Whether we like it or not, our personal devices are an integral part of our lives.
In fact, 73% of Canadians spend at least 3-4 hours online per day. And 20% of Canadians don’t go more than 8 hours without their devices (CIRA).

With so much time spent online, its no wonder that cyber security attacks are on the rise. Working remote can leave us vulnerable to attacks, as we have so many more end points to manage and secure.

Which is why its important to keep them updated, protected and safe.
