As we look into 2023, it's a great time to look at the trends we expect to see this year. Are you ready to embrace a continued move to the cloud? To holistically look at security across your organization? And do you have the tools in place to ensure your data is reliable and explainable?

Take a look at these priorities and let us know what you think. We’d be interested to hear what your priorities are for 2023.

Cloud maturity (not just adoption) will be essential to digital transformation
As we approach the new year, the cloud will continue to be a top priority for organizations. This will create a heightened demand for cloud experts as organizations progress from adoption to maturity.

Remote work is here to stay (but we need to improve how we work remote)
The continued advances in technology products and features have enabled organizations to successfully work between home and the office. To assure hybrid workers continue to thrive, leaders will need to evolve how they keep their teams connected. A focus on building a purpose-driven workforce development strategy, aligned with an organization’s strategic initiatives will be key.

Need to invest in building digital immunity
To prepare your organization to mitigate potential risks, leaders should consider a digital immune system. This would combine practices and technologies from chaos engineering, auto-remediation, and site reliability engineering to increase the resiliency of products, services and systems.

The Metaverse is coming
Although there is a lot of hype around the metaverse, we think it’s important for business leaders to start thinking about this technology, so they understand how the world will change over the next 3-7 years. Young people are already comfortable with increasingly immersive experiences, which suggests companies must start to come to grips with the metaverse now.

Cybersecurity concerns will continue
A strong focus on proactive and preventative cyber measures will continue into 2023. The motto is simple ‘keep data safe and secure.’ Organizations need to ensure they’ve got the capabilities and protections in place to protect their company and customer data. The cyber threat is ever evolving, and we see it getting even bigger.

As you can see, the world continues to change, which includes the ways our teams work, learn, deliver and adopt new technology. What are you doing to empower your team today … and into the new year? What technologies are you looking to adopt? Wherever you're at in your digital transformation journey, we can help.
